Video Editing Portfolio
Here are six videos showcasing the multiple types of projects I have worked on, all requiring different styles of editing.
Detective Conan in a Nutshell - Vermouth Arc Part 2
This is the fourth long-form video essay about a particular animated show I edited. I was tasked with cutting and implementing voice-over, adjusting audio levels for music and sound effects, adding text, and keyframing 2D graphics over backgrounds. This video further demonstrates my ability to pace edits dramatically while maintaining a clear overarching narrative.Â
Ace of Hearts - First Look
This project had a strict production deadline of 30 days from conception to delivery. I was tasked with animating and editing this promotional trailer for a webcomic, exercising my pacing capabilities and my ability to convey tone through thoughtful pairing of audiovisual elements.
Another Sleepless Night
In this lyric video, I synced all visuals to the supplied original score. I designed, animated, and edited all lyrical elements powerfully and intentionally to convey all intended emotions.
2 Majestic
This video for a local realtor showcases my ability to edit b-roll footage over serene music, fully showcasing the love, care, and nuance of this beautiful property to prospective buyers.
Ace of Hearts - Webcomic announcement
This is a short announcement video for the online release of a webcomic. This video was created for vertical formats and includes text and 2D graphics.
Vermouth Revealed...
In this Short, I took an existing video from this client and repurposed a small section in the form of a vertical video to amplify the hook and importance of this particular moment. I also added accurate captions to make the spoken information easier to digest.
